The terraced rice fields can be seen in most of the mountain areas in the North of Vietnam, but the three most beautiful areas for you to visit these masterpieces are Sapa, Hoang Su Phi and Mu Cang Chai.

Welcome at the airport on arrival in Ha Noi and transfer to the downtown for checking in your hotel.
18:00 Your Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel
18:30 Meet the group and have a full safety briefing about the Tour in meeting point with Egg coffee or soft drink.
18:45 Tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter and HoanKiem Lake and be amazed at the lively small alleys that are not even noticeable during the day. Take a number of short stops to take photos and learn about the history of the Old Quarter
19:15 Enjoy eating a range of small Vietnamese snacks
20:00 Ride around the city, outside of the Old Quarter, where most tourists don’t visit, pass some of the most majestic, historical buildings including Flower market and Long Bien bridge.
21:15 Stop for Dinner. You will experience dinner at an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant with a wonderful variety of unlimited food to cater for every taste
22:00 You will have the option for your Tour Guide to take you to any location in the Old Quarter or to your hotel

After breakfast, we depart for Mu Cang Chau (300Km from Hanoi). We hope all of you have Camera on hand to explore the heart – stopping beauty of terranced fields.

On way, we stop at Tu Le and Khau Pha Pass to explore local market, then visiting wonderful terrace of La Pan Tan village, visit H'mong family…who seem very surprise, staring at you for the first moment and turn out very friendly and inviting you to their homes in which you will be hosted with tea or home made wine. Lunch in local people’s home.

After lunch, we depart for Mu Cang Chai, check in your hotel first (homestay) and walk around by yourselves. We will wait for the sunset to have shots of Terrance fields. You may be very hard working to get the best shots.

Today, you have a half of day to enjoy the enchanting scenery of Mu Cang Chai. If you are passionate Photographers, you will never leave a moment to get the best shots once you get there. Have a small trek to the villages of Ethnic people in early morning to get the photos of the fields at dawn, then you can chat local with ethnic minorities to know more of their culture.

Have breakfast when back to the town, we visit local market before departing to Sapa.

Upon your arrival in Sapa, have lunch then trek to Lao Chai – Ta Van. We hike on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village of Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai. Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces and visit the H’mong people living in the wooden and bamboo houses. After that, we continue going to Ta Van village to visit Zay minority, where the car pick up you to Sapa for Overnight in Home Stay in Ta Van Village.

We begin the day with a 3km trek through breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, home to H’mong minority. From here you can enjoy views over endless rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals. Continuing on to Matra village you will come across the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a minute to explore this intriguing sight and take some photos. Trekking to the village of Ta Phin you will be able to meet both Black H’mong and Red Dzao minorities. The Red Dao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine, and use plants from the land to treat many illnesses. Your guide will be able to introduce you to some Red Daowomen who can tell you more about their many remedies. A Red Dao herbal medicine bath can be arranged for you to experience, so please ask. Transport will be provided from Ta Phin back to Sapa

Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Ha Giang.

After breakfast, say goodbye to your host and leave for Dong Van. Contemplate the wonderful scenic beauty of the Geo-Park area with towering limestone mountains, gorgeous green valleys, winding roads and poetic blue rivers running alongside the roads at mountains’ foot. Visit Vuong Chi Sinh’s house, the former palace of H’Mong King, made of stone and timber and was built by French colonial to please the King. Then continue our drive to Meo Vac via Ma Pi Leng pass, enjoy breathtaking panoramic view. If we are on the right day, we will have chance to join local market that held every Sunday where ethnic people gather from different villages to exchange their products.

After breakfast, depart for Cao Bang. On the way, stop to take photos or make short visit to local villages and see people in their daily life. Have lunch en route. Upon arrival in Cao Bang, visit a blacksmith village and stay overnight there.

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and get ready for the morning drive to Bac Son Valley in Lang Son province. The drive includes some stops on the way for you to take photographs whenever you want. Arrive at Quynh Son village of the ethnic Tay people and have lunch on a stilt house. This afternoon you will walk to visit the village and hike up to the top of the telephone-station mountain for a stunning scenery over the valley. This is a great point for those who love photographing. Dinner and chat chit with the host of our homestay tonight
Hotel Stay overnight in homestay at Cao Bang
Make a short tour around the village to see how they work on their farms or do their daily activities. Then climb up the highest mountain – the Na Lay peak for panoramic view over the valley. From above, the valley looks like a picture of green paradise with zigzag river runs crossing the village fertilizing the rice fields, and isolated from the outside by high peak mountains. Lunch is cooked and served by your host before heading to Hanoi
