The largest covered market in Hanoi was originally built by the French in 1889 and almost completely destroyed by fire in 1994. Almost everything you can think of from fresh (and live) produce to cheap clothing, souvenirs, consumer goods and traditional arts and crafts can be found inside.
If you are XL size, you will have a problem finding any clothing :P And if in addiction you are a picky customer (like me :P), there is no chance to find anything nice XD Beside that, nice place :)
Large market mainly for locals, the shop owners don’t hassle you which is nice. You can mainly browse in peace. Very few stalls of souvenirs, mainly clothes, fabrics and food.
Not only is it a big shopping center of the capital, Dong Xuan Market is also a cultural symbol of old town associated with the historic part of Hanoi.
Large street market, but there are loads of these in and around Asia... Worth exploring the intersecting streets for really nice street food.
Extremely wide. Several streets. Every street with special focus on goods like one street got clothes another one for food and so on. Really big. Tourist should be aware on thefts
A very popular market in Hanoi where you will find everything from vegetables to fabric and even TV sets!
Dong Xuan Market is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the wholesale traders sell everything from clothes, household goods to foodstuffs.
If you are a tourist with a lot of patience and loves to bargain, go here. :)
Market provides varieties of goods you need, but it is definitely a place for foreigners or travelers to careful of being overpriced.
we- BC Family Tour has an office which is very near here. That's the place you need to see when going to Hanoi
